Northwest Women's Music Celebration

April 25th - 27th 2008: Northwest Women's Music Celebration: an opportunity for women to come together for two and a half days filled with music. Whether you're a beginning musician, an accomplished performer, or someone who just enjoys music, there is a place for you here.

 

Northwest Women's Music Celebration
Camp Collins, seven miles east of Gresham, Oregon,
April 25th - 27th, 2008

This Teachers we've confirmed at this time include Brogan (uke), Nova (accordion), Crystal (fiddle and mandolin), Lori (singing), Janine/Cindy (dance), MyLinda (Marimba), Laura (guitar), Shelly (showtunes), Tissie (drumming), Carolyn (music/art) , Annie (improv),
and of course Nan, Kath, Marie and Janet - Motherlode.

Workshops: Guitar - Drumming - Marimba - Ukulele - Fiddle - Mandolin - Songwriting - Harmonica
Bass - Be in a Band - Dancing - Saturday night show

In response to evaluations from participants, we're adding some additional time and another dinner to the weekend! Come early, get settled in to your nice, modern cabin . . . take a walk to the river, play some music, relax. The fun begins sooner this April!
Registration will open at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, and we'll have a song circle from 3:30 - 4:30. Dinner will be at 6, our opening at 7 p.m.

Registration:
Early bird registration before April 15:  $220/person includes 5 meals, lodging and workshops
Best deal: Early bird buddy rate: 2 for $425. $230/person after April 15.


Our event begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, and ends at noon, Sunday. Please plan to bring an instrument for the workshop you want to take.
